The Thought in a Photograph
What's really inside a photograph? Not just light, form, or subject, but a thought, an intention, a reflection captured over time. I experience photography as a philosophical act, a gesture that doesn't simply represent what I see, but that thinks along with me. Every shot, even the most instinctive, carries with it a trace of my consciousness, my inner gaze, a precise choice.
With Leica, this narrative takes shape through the use of a camera that is not only extraordinary in quality, but also a tool that accompanies and enables my way of observing, reflecting, and capturing the world, in a thought.
RITRATTO
For me, portraiture is not a simple representation, but an act of thought and connection. Every photograph arises from an encounter with another, from a shared moment in which the gaze becomes listening. I don't seek to describe a face, but to allow a presence to emerge. A conscious choice is made in every shot: what to show, what to withhold, what to suggest. The portrait thus becomes a suspended space, where my vision and the subject's identity intertwine. I don't capture a definitive image, but a trace, a fragment of humanity that continues to question the viewer. For me, photography is a reflective gesture: a way of thinking through images, restoring dignity, complexity, and silence.

ARCHITETTURA
Architecture manifests itself as a suspended space, simultaneously fragile and powerful, in constant balance between heaven and earth. My photographs reveal a story far removed from clichés, one that escapes the iconic and repetitive image to convey a more intimate, silent vision, profoundly respectful of its equilibrium. It is an architecture that does not impose itself, but rather allows itself to be traversed, observed, and listened to. The space is filled with a sweet and melancholic life, made up of discreet presences and everyday moments. The noise fades to the point of almost disappearing, leaving room for a suspended dimension. Photography thus becomes a tool for visual meditation, an invitation to slow down the gaze.
